Sharing our life - all our adventures and bumpy rides. Family of four with two young boys - moved back home to allow them the similar experiences and opportunities we had living in North Carolina. Come explore with us!
At our old preschool (1.5 years ago!), Kade won a 2 week free trial at a local taekwondo school. Finally decided to give it a go, so he started with a 30 minute solo class with an instructor. He was a little hesitant at first, but came around quickly to follow the instructions.
This instructor was really great with him - patient, but firm. (Just what Kade needs!)
So animated - both of them! :)
"No baby Kade, only leader Kade" - I like that!
No video because he did it SO fast, but yes - he even broke a board at the end!!!!
Once things settle down again, I think this would be a great extracurricular for Kade.
Wouldn't you know, a few days after we returned from Disney World, we plunged in to really cold temperatures and a 2" snow fall. It didn't seem to cover anything but grass, trees, and houses, but nevertheless, schools (and my work!) were closed!
Moose enjoyed running around in the snow!!
He even caught a few snowballs!
Pretty house!
I took Brock to Dave & Buster's that morning.
When we returned from our morning trek, we decided to build a snowman with the remaining snow in our front yard!
He helped me with the first one, but then he wanted to do one all by himself!
"Taking a break"
He wanted to make it even bigger than the first, but we were quickly running out of snow!
It's hard work pushing that snow!
Alas, I never took a picture of his snowman, but it was a bit bigger than the first one - we dressed them up with scarves and some eyes (mulch pieces). Even thought they lasted another three days, he was a little sad watching them melt.
