Finally we all received a green light (negative test) and were able to venture out - freedom!! We made the most of our first time out with the boys' favorite lunch at our favorite spot (the back of the 4Runner)!

One week after returning from our Oak Island getaway, Kade lost his first tooth! It was a surprise to all of us since it happened when we were out to eat at Salem Street Pub downtown Apex!
Brian and Nancy smartly invested in a beach house in Oak Island earlier this year. As typical for owners of a rental, they reserved a few peak weeks for their own use in the house and asked us to join them over Labor Day weekend!
We were all so excited to go to the IN-PERSON Meet the Teacher! Five days before school started, the boys received their teacher information and an invitation for us to enter the school and see their classrooms.
First Grade and Third grade better watch out - here come the silly Eason boys!
We picked out their outfits separately, but didn't realize how matchy matchy they would be! Oh well - they look cute together!
