Easter 2025

 

Even though Easter was later this year, it still seemed to creep up on us! We ordered our ham from Honeybaked on Wednesday for Friday pickup! 

After swim lessons in the morning and an early afternoon soccer game, we decorated our eggs on Saturday afternoon. Only colored 12 this year - eggs are expensive and I am basically the only one who likes hard boiled eggs! 

Nevertheless, the boys still worked hard on their color creations! 

I treated myself to tulips both trips to Trader Joe's this week! Pink ones earlier this week and white ones for Easter weekend!

The Easter bunny made his rounds and delivered very full baskets to these two boys!

On Sunday morning we headed to church and snapped a family selfie on our way out! 

Tried to switch up the Easter Egg hunt and suggested a tier award system based on how many eggs they gathered. Last year Brock only cared about finding the golden egg, so I was trying to make it more enticing for him. 

A pretty good hunt! The warmer weather surely affected Moose as he usually does a little hunting of his own - he was perfectly content to lay in the grass and watch the boys run around! 

We wrapped up the day with an amazing dinner of honeybaked ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, (asparagus for me!) and chocolate cake for dessert. The best part was Brock lingering at the table talking to Brent and I about all sorts of things. I'm so glad he's feeling better after his bout with the flu! 

It was a great day all around!
