Unfortunately Kade is in that beginner class with a rotating teacher.... makes it hard to stay consistent between which of the three college girls will be teaching him that day (And Kade does not do well with inconsistency). On this particular day, Kade got Mr. Eric - Brock's swim instructor! Oh my goodness did he excel this day! He is AWESOME!
And Kade's little friend was a no-show - even better - a SOLO class!
He worked on his bob - LOVED it - and felt confident! Kade wanted to do it over and over again!
Don't fret - see, he popped right back up!!
And he even got him to float ALL BY HIMSELF! Kade has come a long way from being too scared to go in to the "deep part" (anything over 3'0")! Good job Kade!!
The following day was Brock's first official swim meet! Brock was ready! He was set to swim in the freestyle main event, backstroke main event, and breast-stroke heat.
He was amazing! Finished leaps and bounds ahead of all the other competitors in the Boys 6 and Under age group!
Next up, backstroke!
Aww man, if he didn't hit the rings he would have won - still not bad to place second!
Lastly, the breast-stroke. Silly Brent had a bad angle and thought Brock didn't get it - nope, first place!! Not a bad first swim meet - first, second, and first place!!
