19 weeks!

 

I'm 19 weeks today! The belly band is just not cutting it any longer and it's full time maternity pants from here on out! 

We are very excited for this upcoming Labor Day weekend - we're going to Disneyland on Friday!! We'll be meeting my cousin Andrew and his wife Lauren after their drive in from San Francisco. It's going to be great for all of us to get away and go act like we're kids again!

Happy 5th Birthday Diesel!

Happy 5th Birthday most handsome husky of ours! We love you..... that's why we bought you a ribeye from Whole Foods (to share with your brother over the course of three meals).

18 weeks and new furniture!

Baby is getting bigger (which means belly is too) and the kicks are getting a little stronger. Brent is really looking forward to when he can feel the baby kick.... a few weeks more, I think. I'm smiling big because I got a fancy new 'do today too!

Last Friday Brent and I picked up a console table for our home. Brent was teasing me because he thinks I made it into some sort of alter. I think it makes the front foyer area more welcoming! We have started searching for a new sectional for our living room too - yay for nesting!!

17 weeks

Back by popular demand.... puppy posing with me!

We had an appointment today to hear the heartbeat! 135 beats per minute - doctor said very healthy. Anywhere between 120 - 150 at this stage is good and supposedly boys' heartbeats are slightly slower than girls.

It's been extremely hot here again this week, so Brent broke down and purchased a portable air conditioning unit for the upstairs. I think the husky has figured out how awesome it is because for the last several mornings we wake up to find him laying out right in front of it!

Sweet 16 Weeks!

Brent is making a guest author appearance this week in the blog... 
We have reached the sweet 16 week mark.  The milder temps have returned to the Puget Sound and that means better sleeping weather. 

Baby is getting bigger and triggering some cupcake cravings.  We are getting excited for those first kicks. 

Kathryn & Carter's Wedding

Saturday was a hot day in Seattle and we spent it at an outdoor wedding! Kathryn is Eric Lucas' daughter - a hunting partner of Brent's of 12 years. It was the hottest day of the year thus far at 91 degrees! It was a gorgeous venue set on a horse farm. I think the coolest place to be was in the barn!!

Good news!!

We're expecting a little one on or around January 23, 2013!!! The best news is it's a healthy baby BOY!! We couldn't be happier and we are oh so excited! Expect weekly updates in the future!
