22 weeks!

Here we are at 22 weeks and still feeling great! Brent gets to feel him kick at least once a day now (if he's patient enough). We started moving furniture around to make the bedroom into the nursery. First step was organizing the garage, which we did this past weekend, to make room for a hutch. Next step is going to be to figure out how to get the treadmill out of the one bedroom and into the other (without killing the door like the movers did). Good thing we have some cool neighbors a few houses down.... ;)

21 weeks

We're all feeling good at 21 weeks. It was nice to see baby last week at the ultrasound and know that things are going really well. Baby is BIG! Supposedly weighs 15 ounces at the 20 week mark - which is almost 2 weeks ahead of schedule! Very nice - a big healthy baby - we couldn't be happier!

Halfway Point!

20 weeks! We're halfway through now! We have our 20 week ultrasound tomorrow and we're very excited to see the little guy again! Really no food cravings nor food aversions, but I'm definitely starting to feel the desire to "nest".

Disneyland

Brent, Andrew, Lauren and I had a great time at Disneyland in Anaheim, California over Labor Day weekend! It was great company at a fabulous amusement park with beautiful sunny California weather. So glad it worked out and thanks to ESPN, we got fabulous discounts everywhere! :)

On Saturday we spent ALL day at Disneyland. Andrew and Lauren made reservations at the Blue Bayou for dinner - the restaurant inside the Pirates of Caribbean ride.We had a great time, although it made for a very long day.
Brent shooting the "Z's" on the Buzz Lightyear Ride
We liked this one so much, we rode it twice!!
Andrew and Lauren getting excited to enter "It's a Small World"
Can you spot Brent, Andrew and Lauren on "Big Thunder Mountain"?
Andrew comparing jaw size with the hippo on "Jungle Cruise"
Posing with Pluto

Lauren and Andrew showing off our Pineapple Floats - very yummy!
On Sunday, we went to the California Adventures Park - it had a very different feel compared to the Disneyland park. You have to remember Disneyland was built in 1955 and California just opened in 2001. There were so many lands to explore, but we were spent from the day before and took it a little easier. Brent and I had reservations at Steakhouse 55 for dinner at the Disneyland Hotel. Delicious food again. Next time we go back, we'll surely stay at one of the three Disney properties.
Grizzly Peak

Getting pumped up to ride "Ariel's Undersea Adventure" - I loved it! They really recreated the movie into the ride!!
Ariel singing "Part of Your World"

Riding "Mickey's Fun Wheel", the 160 foot tall Ferris Wheel
The gang in the newly opened Cars Land (opened June 15, 2012). Unfortunately the "best" ride "Radiator Springs Racers" was not operational that day so we couldn't even see it, let alone try to wait in the 2 hour line for the ride!
We returned home on Monday to pick up the tired puppies from camp and then proceeded to the AT&T store to purchase another phone for me. My relatively new HTC One X met an untimely death by falling out of my hands onto a brick pavement. The glass screen shattered and spiderwebbed and proceeded to make it even more difficult through the weekend to use the touchpad....thus the importance of a new phone. There went all the savings from the trip! :( All in all, a great weekend, but we're happy to be home. It was a little too hot in Anaheim for us (temperatures in the mid-90's) - guess I'm getting soft living in Seattle!!
