21 weeks

I'm 21 weeks and the belly is moving on out! Brent says it's a noticeable difference from last week - must be all those protein shakes!

20 weeks!

20 weeks - halfway through! It seems like the pregnancy is going by fast, but maybe it's just because it's the holiday season... 20 weeks and Helen had her baby boy today - only 2 days after due date! Congrats to Helen and Joe!! 

19 weeks and Brent's HTC Holiday Party

Brent's HTC Holiday Party was Thursday night and it was quite elaborate! Open bar, cocktail hour with appetizers, Ice sculpture (see below), and some great food when we finally did sit down! I treated myself to a regular Coke while Brent enjoyed the open bar. They gave out awards and then started drawing for the prizes - 2 tickets to see Letterman and $600 for travel expenses, 4 day stay at a Spa Resort and $100 for travel expenses, XBox System with two games plus $200 gift card to Amazon.... just to name a few of the over 25 prizes they gave out!! Unfortunately we didn't win anything this year. My company's Holiday party is tonight - I have a feeling the prizes won't be that good!

18 weeks and Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Even though it was just the two of us (and two puppies), we had a great Thanksgiving - just lots more leftovers! The bump is definitely moving more outwards - and it's a good thing too because I was able to get seconds today and not have the baby pushed all up on my stomach, killing my appetite! 

17 weeks

17 weeks now and the belly is definitely getting bigger. The doctor advised me to up my protein, so I'm doing protein shakes twice a day. I feel so full after I drink them!! Brent has been great with cheering me on to eat more for baby as I've really only gained about 1-2 pounds.

It's a GIRL!!

Yeah, so Baby refused to move from her favorite position, which made it rather difficult for the ultrasound tech to see everything they were looking for. Oh well, we saw enough to know it's a girl! We'll be back at 20 weeks to count toes and fingers!

16 weeks

A noticeable baby bump at 16 weeks. I'm loving having more energy now too!

15 weeks and headed to NC!

15 weeks now! All packed and ready to head to NC for a quick weekend trip. One of my best friends, Helen Everitt, is having her Baby Shower and it just seemed like I had to be there - especially since so many of us are pregnant! I'm taking the red eye in and I'm NOT flying stand-by - yay! I get to wear my pajamas!!

The wonders of BeBands at 14 weeks!

So I'm 14 weeks pregnant now and perhaps I should have invested in these BeBands a little earlier (I don't think I have buttoned my pants' top button for at least 4 weeks), but they are amazing! The BeBand is a tight elastic band that you can wear several different ways - all so that pregnant women can get a little more use out of their pre-pregnancy clothes before spending that extra money and purchasing maternity ware! My only complaint - it takes extra long in the bathroom to get yourself all put back together again!
