Playing Hard, Working Hard!

Last Sunday, the crew headed up to Kirkland to visit with our cousins! A very full house with three kids - sorry for messing up your house Andrew & Lauren.

Ara and Kade are both in the "no" stage and sharing is a little.... tough. They did have moments where they did share and those were adorable!!
Ara is trying to give Kade the green ball
Kade is my little hoarder and likes to hold ALL the crayons with his right hand.... therefore coloring with his left - however, he isn't left handed and it's not really doing him any good with his pen control practice! He liked getting stickers from Uncle Andrew though!

Brock got to play with some big boy toys - Andrew took out his old Batman set, complete with Batmobile and Brock was in love! After a weekend home alone with Daddy, his interest in Batman has piqued again!

Sorry Uncle Evan - Kade does not sit for too long!

Dinner was delicious local pizza. We are going to miss these weekend dinners where we just pop the high chair in the truck and head up to your place! So glad to see you guys are getting settled in the area - we hope to continue watching you explore the PNW with Ara and remember our time here vicariously through you guys!

Second to last Toddler Time at the Renton Community Center and we were finally the first people there! Kade had his choice of anything and he chose.... a basketball! :)

He loves going to his "school" to play with his friend Crosby!

Later that week we had an unfortunate incident with a raisin.

He seemed to have smushed it and was rather upset by the whole ordeal. Here's a video of poor Kade - and yes, I'm that mom who took a video when my child was crying!

Don't worry - he was all better in no time! After dinner, Brock and Kade went crazy together on the slide in the playroom!

Okay, enough messing around! We had more packing to do!!

Brock was a good helper that rainy morning for my Garage Sale! My parents have had their fair share of decent garage sales, but I was quite surprised at the turnout of mine! It was raining all morning, but still people came - and bought quite a few things! I think it was worth it!

After a hard weekend, it was time for a treat - Dairy Queen ice cream cones with sprinkles for my happy boy!
