32 weeks!

32 weeks today! Can't believe it's only 8 +/- weeks to go!! It's definitely getting more real every day... especially since "the bump" is a full on belly now!

Tonight we took advantage of a B1G1 coupon at the Snoqualmie Casino Buffet (which wasn't that great) and then proceeded to play a little slots. Well, I played slots, Brent played Blackjack. Brent did alright, but I totally scored. After "borrowing" $20 from Brent, I proceeded to WIN $105. Yes, I cashed out and pocketed that money! Yay, it will go towards the new bra I had to purchase today for my ever changing body. I believe I've purchased more bras in the last 5 months than I have in the last 5 years!!

Enjoy a picture of the husky making himself comfy on a Michael Thomas chair - only the best for Diesel! *Note, we do not condone the boys getting on the furniture in our household, but we had to capture the "battle" we've had with Diesel the last week.

Happy Thanksgiving!

31 weeks
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We had a really nice day relaxing around the house and cooking! Brent was outside frying our turkey and I was responsible for all the sides - what teamwork! Check out our spread and the first time we are using our beautiful china!

After a little break and a little football time, it was time for pumpkin pie! Yum! I think the baby enjoyed his first taste of Thanksgiving....he was kicking all night!

30 weeks!!

We're moving right along now! Can't believe we only have 10 weeks to go! Sleeping is getting better now that I have a body pillow - just doesn't leave a lot of room in the bed for poor Brent! The nursery is coming together nicely, but we still have a few things we need to finish before we do the big reveal.

Sad news though - I was not fortunate enough to be one of those lovely ladies that does not get stretch marks. When Brent returned from his elk hunting trip, he looked at my belly and asked me if the baby had kicked so hard he had given me a bruise?! Nope, just the start of a nice purple stretch mark. I lotion every morning and every night now to try to control it, but I've accepted them and ultimately just hoping these will go away quickly after baby arrives.

Elk Hunting

Brent was hunting elk on the west side of Mt St. Helen's this past week. He had a good time camping and tailgating, but alas no elk. He was in the truck by 5am and then had to drive at least 20 miles on uneven dirt roads to get to the entrance of the hunting grounds, then typically another 4-7 miles on foot or bike to get to where he was going to hunt. Good thing he's in such good shape!

The Tundra nice and dirty, ready for lunch!

28 weeks!

Happy Halloween everyone! We had about twenty kids come to the door this year and it was really fun to see the neighbors' kids all dressed up! Diesel loved meeting all the kids and getting some extra attention; unfortunately Oscar was just not a fan of the doorbell ringing. We got one new dog costume this year and they both had to share it. I think it would be really cute, but it doesn't seem to "fit" either of them - it just falls in their eyes! Silly boys, we still think you're cute in your cowardly lion outfit!

Brent had a busy last weekend putting together the central point of the nursery! He did an amazing job and the crib looks great in the room. We are looking forward to working on the other finishing touches for when we welcome Baby Boy Eason into his room!
Smile Brent!

Making sure the crib is all secure for baby!

Daddy, I'm just helping you get this plastic into tiny little pieces to make it easier for you to carry downstairs, k?

All done with a stuffed animal husky in the crib!
