Snow and Cookies!

Sunday morning, December 9th, we woke up to a winter wonderland! We, unfortunately, only received about 3 inches of the white stuff whereas areas in North Raleigh received up to 9 inches!!

It wasn't the best for sledding, but we tried! ;)

Moose, however, LOVED it!

He played outside in the back for a bit and then the boys went to the front to try out the sledding.

Yes, the snow suit my mother bought for Brock originally, size 18-24 months, still fits Kade.... barely!

I guess Brock thought trying without the sled would be better??

The group headed to the "big" hill down to the pool. There's my snow dog in his element!

And here's the Italian Mastiff in his jacket!!

Moose tried catching the snowballs!

See how sloshy it was?? It was only about 10 am and the snow was already starting to melt from the rain falling.

"Just don't eat the yellow snow!" "No Mommy, I'm eating the white snow!"

Good thing I picked up a Christmas cookie decorating kit from Trader Joe's! (this frosting was way easier for a 3 and 5.5 year old to manage than the gingerbread house kit from walmart)

SPRINKLES!!

Yup, licking it right off the tray!

Tasty!
