While Brock was away for a weekend swim meet in Greensboro, Kade and I planned a fun evening together close to home. Since Kade loves steak and Brent was out of town, I suggested we kick things off with a trip to Outback!
He very much devoured his 8oz filet!
We were sharing pictures of our dinner so Brent and Brock shared pictures of their burger dinner & dessert in Greensboro as well!
Our next stop was Downtown Cary Park - explored the enclosed dog area and then took a walk around the pond.
Finished with the playground - Kade loves this particular slide best!
Brock performed amazingly well at all his events at the Greensboro Aquatic Center! He likes this pool - they play music under the water during warmups!
He won his heat!
Later that month, we celebrated another trip around the sun for Brent. :)
Poor Brent had his glove broken by one of Brock's magnificently hard throws... I found a place that would re-lace and condition his glove to new!
Moose outside waiting for his Dad (but also guarding me!).
After a yummy birthday dinner downtown Apex for Brent, we stopped at Fresh (and Dairy Queen) for some ice cream. Moose was lucky - dogs have to be present (in the car) for the Pup Cup at DQ, but not at Fresh! A yummy Doggie Sundae - complete with vanilla ice cream, peanut butter and 2 mini dog treats!
Moose is so patient with me! Cheesy poof on his nose!
First day of June and a high of 82 - it was the perfect weather to take a Corso out on the lake!
He's smiling!
I have been making a point to capture a photo of Brock with my Dad every time he visits - it's such a fun way to see just how quickly Brock is growing!
Picture on left (Brock in gray shirt) is from June 2025 vs Brock in RSA shirt picture is from March 2025!
We've also been growing things outside of the house! We have our garden in the backyard with zucchini and green beans, but added this area for corn and carrots.
We were surprised to see something else growing in the middle of those two vegetables. Brent persuaded me to let it grow even though I so desperately wanted to yank it out of there!
I was so very glad I did! Look how tall the mystery plant and corn are!!!
We were rewarded with a beautiful sunflower!
